This Week in Hype: The Shane Eli Edition (Listen & Download) Posted by Nathan S. on 11/16/12 | Filed under Downloads, Podcasts, This Week in Hype

Truth be told, I was fully prepared for RefinedHype Nation to retire my podcast career before it ever really started, but against all odds the response to the inaugural edition of "This Week in Hype" was pretty positive...so fuck it, this is a whole thing now.

For the second edition, I brought on the supremely talented emcee/producer/Olympic archer Shane Eli to talk about the J. Cole debate that's been lighting up RefinedHype this week, B.o.B.'s new "Fuck 'Em We Ball" mixtape and the General Petraeus sex scandal. Yeah, it's kind of a big deal.

As always, I don't particularly give a fuck about what podcasts are "supposed" to do, I only care about turning out a dope product for RefinedHype Nation. So let me know how we can make "This Week in Hype" better, what guests you'd like to hear next and, most importantly, how surprised you are that I'm white.

Huge thank you to Shane Eli for taking the time to support out little endeavor. Enjoy......hopefully.....
