Don't look now, but The Internet, also known as Matt Martian and Syd the Kyd, have a dope little thing brewing far away from the nihilistic confines of their Odd Future brethren.

As much as I love the ol' rappity rap, I need a good amount of soul and R&B in my life just to maintain my sanity, and their new joint "Give It Time" is one of the better soul/r&B joints I've heard all week. You can never go wrong with some quality guitar work, and while Syd's vocals aren't powerhouse, she's got a realness in her voice that suits the cut perfectly.

I'm officially checking out The Internet's "Feel Good" EP when it drops in December, if you need to mellow the fuck out in between all those listens to "Bands a Make Her Dance" I recommend you do the same. Enjoy...
