Snoop Lion Recruits Drake & His Daughter For His Anti-Violence Cut “No Guns Allowed” (Listen)

In order to fully enjoy "No Guns Allowed," one has to really force themselves to come to the hard realization that the "Gin And Juice," colorful hair barrette-rocking Snoop is long gone and that the rapper is fully intent on pursuing a reggae career as Snoop Lion. I'm still trying to get used to Snoop Lion myself, but I have to admit that I'm pretty impressed by his newly-released "No Guns Allowed" record. With gun violence at an all time high these days it's welcoming hearing an artist condemn violence rather than praise it.

Also, the addition of Snoop's daughter Cori B. on the record adds another layer of positivity to "No Guns Allowed." Pair that with a thoughtful, though speedy verse from Drake and this might just be the first record from Snoop Lion that the people might actually be feeling.

The Major Lazer-produced record can be found on Snoop's "Reincarnated" album when it's released on April 23.
