Rick Ross & Auto-Tune Singing Sensation Nicki Minaj Proclaim “You The Boss” (Listen & Download)

As much as I tried to force myself to like Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj's "You The Boss," it's just not working. For me I think Nicki Minaj's auto-tuned singing killed any hopes I had for this song and the production didn't help either. And is it just me or does "You The Boss" sound like an "Aston Martin Music"/"Moment 4 Life" hybrid? You know, with Ross' lovey dovey verses and Nicki Minaj's singing.

While some may find Minaj's singing enjoyable I really think "You The Boss" could have been benefited from an actual singer. Remember how Chrisette Michele killed the hook on "Aston Martin Music?" Sorry, but Nicki Minaj can't do that. And to be honest I liked Ross' verses, but with a wack beat they seem to be overshadowed.

I also have to add that I'm extremely upset at the fact that Big Bird had to be skinned alive just so Ross could wear him for his cover art. So disrespectful. He'll have to deal with the Sesame Street goons sooner or later and he better pray they show mercy 'cause God forgives, but Bert and Ernie don't.
