Remember that period around 2004 when Usher was cranking our dope guest verses with an incredible consistency? Rapsody's in the equivalent of that period right now, except instead of tracks with Usher and Lil Jon she's doing unapologetic, soulful underground hip-hop with 9th Wonder and the Jamla Army. Ludacris and Rapsody, just two (very) different sides of the same remarkable consistency coin.

Fresh off the release of her dope "For Everything" project, which shortly followed the dope "Return of the B-Girl", Rapsody returns with a quickstrike project in the form of "The Black Mamba". This EP has the same killer instinct as its namesake baller, except without the overbite face...and it was hopefully smart enough to sign a pre-nup. (Sorry, as a native Celtics fan I can't resist a couple Kobe jokes.)

In addition to mic-rocking from the headliner, the project’s sole guest features come from Bluu Suede and Tab-One (of Kooley High). Production duties are handled by the legendary 9th Wonder in addition to Eric G. and Khrysis. Enjoy...
