This New Mike Posner & Twista “Hey Lady” Is Pretty Tight (Listen & Download)

Tight? Sorry, for a second there I thought it was 1998. I am surprisingly impressed with this new Twista and Mike Posner "Hey Lady" though. And who would have thought that Mike Posner and Twista would sound so well on a song together. I have to admit I half expected Twista to butcher this song, but I was pleasantly surprised by his verse and how well it seemed to fit.

I think Posner's raspy bar stalker voice might catch a few folks off guard, but I'm feeling it. It's definitely unique. Posner makes a Pharrell mention towards the beginning of the song, but I'm not quite sure if "Hey Lady" is one of the two Pharrell-produced tracks on "The Layover." It kinda sounds like Neptunes Lite so it's a possibility. But regardless of who produced it the production is one of the high-points of "Hey Lady." "The Layover" will be released on November 20th.
