I wish I could say I was smart enough to plan out shit like this, but literally while I was listening to Just Blaze's greatest hits collection I came across Organized Noize's greatest hits collection, "Out of the Darkness". Between Just and Organized Noize you've got the producers who were responsible for shaping much of what we consider classic '90s hip-hop, and what hip-hop sounds like today: Just Blaze for east coast emcees, Organized Noize for southern emcees.

As hard as it is to believe, between just three dudes - Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown - Organized Noize created some of my favorite beats of all time from Outkast, Goodie Mob, Ludacris and more, including "2 Dope Boys in a Cadillac", "So Fresh & So Clean", "Elevators", "Blueberry Yum Yum", "Fo Yo Sorrows" and approximately eleventy billion others. Massive respect to ON, and respect to Trackstar the DJ for putting "Out of the Darkness" together.
