Sweet baby jesus knows I've given The Fat Guy Who Yells a Lot a hard time over the years, and with good reason. The man yells, a lot, and new cut "Hip-Hop" is no different. Per usual it's not really clear just what The Fat Guy did besides pay for the studio time to record this, but....

....whatever he did, he did put together a motherfucking track with Scarface, Nas and DJ Premier. I mean, holy balls, do you hear this shit? There's a reason that Scarface pops up in "best rapper alive" conversations among hardcore hip-hop heads, and lyrically Nas is still in "Life is Good" lyrical beast mode. At that point the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League beat and Primo scratches are just gravy. As many times as we've heard follows up to Common's "I Used to Love H.E.R.", this is as close to a part two we've ever heard.

Holy shit, did The Fat Guy Who Yells A Lot just drop a classic track? It's only been an hour since this shit was released so I don't want to get carried away, but still. Damn. I can't fucking stop swearing. Fuck I love hip-hop.
