According to San Bernardino rapper Curtiss King, he's on the cusp of greatness and isn't afraid to let that little fact be known on his newest record "Hella Close" which serves as the third single from his debut album. Despite his ties to the West Coast, King comes across as uniquely Southern on the record as he flaunts an interesting twang as he bounces from verse to verse.

On top of King's self-assured lyricism another stand out on "Hella Close" is the addictively laidback production which comes courtesy of Villain. Although the Cali emcee's dopely-titled "Atychiphobia" project has no set release date, past singles from King can be streamed on his Bandcamp page.
