I highly doubt that "clarifying things in the Hip-Hop community" is a major responsibility for the commander-in-chief, but President Obama did just that during a recent interview with Orlando’s Power 95.3. The president was asked about Nicki Minaj's "Mercy" line that has everyone up in arms: "I'm a Republican, voting for Mitt Romney/ You lazy bi**ches is f**king up the economy."



After hearing Minaj's rather ratchet line, President Obama simply responded with, "She likes to play different characters so I don't know what's going on there." If anything, at least the president gets it...You cannot take Nicki Minaj seriously. For Minaj this was probably more of a matter of Romney being the only presidential candidate whose name rhymes with "economy."

Even if Minaj were to actually voice her support of Romney, only .008 percent of her fans are old enough to vote so consider that endorsement null and void.
