So It Looks Like Mann’s “Bend Ya” Featuring Kendrick Lamar & Frank Ocean Is The Real Deal (Listen)Posted by Danielle Harling on 08/21/12 | Filed under Top Stories, Downloads, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Mann |

Correction: Blogs. Don't slight the homie
— Kendrick Lamar (@kendricklamar) August 20, 2012@mann and take him off his own song.? Credit when due.@mann ft. Kendrick Lamar ,Frank Ocean.
While a lot of artists do unfortunately like to throw themselves on random records from well-known artists, I don't see why "Bend Ya" was so hard to believe. All three artists got their start on the West Coast and it wasn't until pretty recently that both Kendrick and Frank Ocean skyrocketed to fame so why not help their fellow artists? But moving right along to the actual record...
I really hope this isn't a finalized version of "Bend Ya" because that Frank Ocean hook is a little rough around the edges and since it sets the tone for the record it isn't the greatest of looks. Kendrick's verse on "Bend Ya" and Mann's first verse are both straight, but that last verse with the heavy voice manipulation is entirely too much for a song that already has more than enough layers. I will say that with a few tweaks (ditch that last verse and tighten up on Ocean's hook) "Bend Ya" could be a pretty dope record.
Nathan Update: You'll have to turn the volume way up on this one. The audio quality's low - it's a random leak, nothing we can do on our end but look around for better. If anyone's got a better version hit us in the comments below. Also, I would love to hear the back story on how this came together.
