Mac Miller Continues To Bring The Funk With De La Soul On This Maseo-Produced Track (Listen)

Just weeks after collaborating with Posdnous of De La Soul for the "Of The Soul Remix," Mac Miller is collaborating with yet another member from the iconic group. This latest Mac Miller/De La Soul collaboration titled "I Bring The Soul" is produced by Maseo of De La Soul and will be featured on his upcoming project, "DJ Conductor." Thanks to the dopeness that is the "Of The Soul Remix" my expectations for "I Bring The Soul" were a little on the high side, but thankfully they were all met.

Mac Miller is one of very few new school artists who can work with a group like De La Soul and it just sounds natural. So Miller's lyrics paired with that of Maseo's funky, somewhat throwback production works and it works well. While Miller's verses were pretty nice an added verse from a De La Soul member would have been the icing on the cake.
