What’s RefinedHype Nation Listening To This Week? (A Collaborative Playlist) Posted by Nathan S. on 01/24/14 | Filed under Playlists, Listening To

This week marked another round of "why doesn't RefinedHype post more new music?" conversation, a conversation that, for the record, I'm completely willing and ready to have. The long answer is that I'm trying to figure out how to give the people what they want, but in the meantime, I'm hoping these "Listening To" playlists can help.

Instead of waiting on allmighty me to post things, I'm hoping RefinedHype Nation can help each other out.You can either hit the comments below with what you're listening to, or add a song directly to the playlist through SongDrop. That way we can collaboratively build a dope, true RefinedHype Nation playlist. It can be new music, old music, hip-hop, non hip-hop, whatever. If it's music you're loving and you think other people might love, it qualifies.

[Usual Disclaimer: Hey rappers, this is NOT AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO POST YOUR MUSIC. Just share some awesome music (from someone else) and RefinedHype Nation will be more likely to check our your stuff. Just, you know, don't be a self-promoting dick.]

Got it? Good. Ok, I've started things off with some new ScHoolboy Q , Gary Clark Jr. and Big K.R.I.T., this crazy dope 9th Wonder remix of Common's "The Corner" and this Bad Rabbits "Walking on the Moon" cover I've been digging.

Allright, add your own and let's do this thing proper like.

RefinedHype has merged with The DJBooth. It's the same articles you loved on RefinedHype, new address. For more info, check out the official announcement.
