Shocking News: Kid Cudi Smokes Some “Marijuana” (Listen & Download)

Here we go again. Admist all the news surrounding his over blown shots at Wale ("blown", get it? Nevermind) I almost forgot that Kid Cudi has a new album coming out, and that I've barely liked anything I've heard off the album so far. "RevOfEv"? Eh. "Mojo So Dope"? Boring. "Maniac"? Pass. Could he finally have a record RefinedHype nation can get excited about with his new joint "Marijuana"? (Pun intended.)

Actually, he might. If I've learned anything from the past few months it's that stoner rap is almost guaranteed to be popular, even if the music's not mind blowing (see also Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, etc.), so even though Cudi's rap is a flat as ever, a catchy and well crafted beat from Dot Da Genius and an appropriately hazy hook might be enough to push this into hit territory. And by "hit" I mean the people are excited about it, obviously radio's going no where near this one.

There's only one way to find out though;




Closing notes: "Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager" drops November 9. Bonus points to Cudi for the "Kryptonite" reference. That song's an overlooked classic.
