New York City-based singer Kendra Morris has begun to make a few waves here and there, primarily thanks to her uniquely soulful voice and the popularity of her single "Concrete Waves." Since Kendra has yet to reach Beyonce-esque fame, you probably have no idea who the Wax Poetics songstress is. No worries though because I'm here to fill you in thanks to a handful of completely random, albeit informative facts, about the singer.

She Can Sang, Not Sing - Miley Cyrus can sing, Keri Hilson can sing, but artists like Adele can sang. There's raw emotion and an impressive vocal range present in those who can sang. And yes, Kendra Morris can sang. The woman's got talent.

She Might Be Kinda Cray - I mean, she does kill her love interest in her "Concrete Waves" video on some Tony Soprano ish. It was done in a visually impressive manner so, I guess we can give her a pass.



She Might Be In A City Near You This Month - With tour stops in San Francisco, Brooklyn, Boston, and Philly this month, there's about a four percent chance that you might able to witness a performance from Kendra firsthand.

She's Got 70's Flair & A Dope Tattoo - While everyone else is rocking snapbacks and 90's inspired wolf t-shirts, Kendra seems to have a penchant for all things 70's. And you can't be mad at an artist who flaunts a little individuality.

She Was Part Of An All-Girl Band - They were called Pinktricity. The name came from a box of Nerds candy. Let that marinate.
