It’s been almost a week since rapper turned film connoisseur Kanye West premiered his short film Runaway so I think it’s safe to say that everyone and their mama has seen the flick. That being said "Runaway" was cool and all, but there are a few things I personally feel should have been changed. And they go a little something like this…
Taylor Swift As The Phoenix
Come on Kanye! You really slipped up with this one. Selita Ebanks was cute and all, but if you really wanted to shock the world (which we’re sure you do) you should have cast Taylor Swift as the Phoneix. Talk about epic. Epicly funny that is.
Where’s Pusha T?!
Uhh, hello? You can create this million-dollar film with fancy ballerinas, a Victoria’s Secret model, Nicki Minaj narrating and you somehow forget to include Pusha T in your performance of “Runway?” Get outta here!
Too Many Men With Exposed Chest Hair
I really don’t think an explanation is needed here. It’s just downright disturbing.
Shutup!
Is it just me or was the most awkward part of this film the actual dialogue? Either Kanye was trying too hard to get his Denzel Washington on or maybe he wasn’t trying hard enough. Who knows. Thankfully, I think Kanye is one rapper we won’t see acting anytime soon. Same goes for Selita Ebanks, minus the rapper part of course.
The nigga had like two line the whole movie and they weren't that bad. Definitely feeling you on the Pusha. Nigga could've been at the table or something. Taylor Swift would never have work. People would've been more concerned about that than the flick and the movie. Plus could you imagine the sex scene. SMH.

Agreed, Kanye is a terrible actor...and yeah he managed to sound awful in the ten lines of dialogue in the movie. "But baby..I don't want you to leave, I want you to stay here with me." haha
The film was good though, he should release a soundtrack for it cuz i keep listening to it just for the music....oh wait....that's what the album's for!

Funny, Kanye said he should've put Pusha next to him at the table.

On a related note, the original/big screen version had occasional french subtitles, which were aggravating as hell. If they hadn't wisely taken them out for the public release that would have def been on the list.
