Believe it or not, most of your favorite artists weren't sitting at the cool kids table growing up. Ok, so I think Snoop was pretty much always that cool, and T.I., but on the whole rappers were more likely to get passed over than win Prom King back in their school days.

Case in point Jared Evan, who channeled his own early struggles perfectly on "Charlie Brown", a cut that's now getting the full remix treatment alongside Emilio Rojas, Wax and Tayyib Ali. As Wax puts it on his verse, all those people who looked down on you in high school found out the hard way that they're popularity ended the minute they left those high school walls. I'll tell you this much, there's a lot of dudes I went to school with who'd be salty to find out I make more money than them writing foolishness about rap.
