Anyone Else on the Fence With This J. Cole “Disgusting”? (Listen & Download)

J. Cole, everyone's favorite rapper without an album, gave fans something to hold them over until the release of his debut album with this latest track titled "Disgusting." Mr. Cole hyped up the track in a major way last night on Twitter and I'm not sure if the song actually lives up to all the hype. Also, I know the track is titled "Disgusting" but there's way too many "shit" and "toilet" references makes me want to grab a can of AJAX.

I hate to sound like an American Idol judge, but J. Cole didn't "wow" me with this one. Nothing stood out lyrically. I get it, J. Cole's a great rapper so he wanted to do one of those "I'm- So-Hot Lyrically-That-Even-This-Somewhat-Mediocre-Track-Is-On-Fire" songs. It's definitely a rowdy, nod your head off, slap someone else's mama song and I can appreciate it for that.

Also, even though the beat is pretty simple it really works for the song and after a few listens I honestly have to say that I think this song is growing on me.
