J. Cole Has “Visionz Of Home” On His Latest Song, Continues Dope Music Streak (Listen & Download)

Although it's quite clear that J. Cole is one rapping a** rapper there are the occasional songs and guest verses where you don't really feel it. And by "it" I'm referring to that feeling you get when your ears have been graced by lyrical magnificence. But fear not because J. Cole really goes all the way in on his latest leak "Visionz Of Home." On "Visionz Of Home" Cole takes us back to his home of North Carolina as he touches on everything from his absent father to the streets he grew up on.

There's a lot that stands out lyrically on "Visionz Of Home" but for some reason this line really comes to mind: "Man, look at this sh*t I came from. This narrow point of view. How you hating on a ni**a that wanted it more than you?" As far as the production on "Visionz Of Home" is concerned I'm not feeling it all that much, but I think that the song is so dope lyrically that the beat becomes a bit more enjoyable.

Side Note: After hearing this song a few more times I have to admit that the beat is actually kind of hard. I'm not feeling the use of the guitar though and I'm pretty sure a few more listens won't change that.
