Frank Ocean’s Got That “Whip Appeal” On His Newest Leak (Listen & Download)

Frank Ocean's more upbeat songs haven't always been favorites of mine, but that has now changed thanks to his latest leak "Whip Appeal." It took a second listen to really get into this one, but it sounds like it'll be a very welcomed addition to Ocean's "Nostalgia, Ultra" re-release which it'll be featured on. On "Whip Appeal" Ocean croons about sports cars and pretty women who can't drive, two things that apparently go hand-in-hand when you've got a suspended license.

Although I enjoyed it I feel like the production on "Whip Appeal" is probably going to be hit or miss for a lot of people. I was definitely expecting a much slower tune due to the name of the song and the fact that it's named after a Babyface track, but the upbeat tempo of "Whip Appeal" is still pretty enjoyable.
