Battle Of The Epic Studio Pic: Eminem & Black Hippy vs. Jay-Z, Nas, Justin Timberlake & Timbaland Posted by Danielle Harling on 06/06/13 | Filed under Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, Black Hippy

You can't go wrong with an obscure battle in Hip-Hop and since folks have been losing their sh*t over studio pictures of the Black Hippy crew with Eminem and Jay-Z chillin' in the studio with Nas, Timbaland, and Justin Timberlake, this is the perfect time for a duel. We obviously need to find out which group had the most epic studio picture, so let's break it down by category.

Image Quality - Jay & Crew - The picture featuring Jay-Z, Nas, JT, and Timbo was taken by an actual photographer while the TDE pic was apparently taken by someone's grandma on the first ever iPhone. An easy win here.

Aesthetics - Jay & Crew - If I didn't know any better, I'd say that the Jay-Z studio pic is in fact an ad for D'USSE cognac. Everything looks perfect in the picture, from the jovial laughter to the dimly lit studio. It's almost too perfect.

Overall Dopeness (a.k.a. The Only Category That Really Matters) - Eminem & Black Hippy - This is an easy win. It's great that Jay-Z is in the studio with some major talent and the pic looks great aesthetically, but it's a little on the "been there, heard that" side. Black Hippy and Eminem on the other hand? Now this picture actually has me excited about what the pair has in the works.

Take a look at both studio pics below and feel free to share your thoughts on which picture you feel is the most epic.
