I've got bad news, good news. First, the bad news.

I'll be at SXSW this Thursday and Friday, and if you know anything about SXSW, you know that it's a clusterfuck of alcoholism music festival that completely sucks you in while you're there. That unfortunately means no new "This Week in Hype" podcast, no "Fails of the Week" and no "This Week in General Awesomeness" this Friday. I'll give you a moment to mourn.



But here's the good news. If you'll be in Austin as well, you can come drink (and/or talk) with me. The mothership and I are putting on the DJBooth DJ Lounge, and we've designed it as an antidote to all the 30 rappers in 30 minute showcases flooding SXSW. For five solid hours we'll be relaxing, drinking and actually talking, while some pretty dope DJs spin as well. No badges, no RSVP, just come and enjoy. You should be there.

Either way, even if it means I've got to hook up an IV next to my laptop, I'll be back on Monday per usual. Peace, and much love to RefinedHype Nation.
