Random Drake Leak Alert: “Dreams Money Can Buy” (Listen & Download)

I swear after "I'm On One" I was thinking, man, we haven't heard new solo music from Drake in a minute. He First 48ed that R&B mixtape, and most artists in his position would at least occasionally let our the occasion leak to keep their name in people's mouths (pause). And then, sure enough, Drizzy let's go of "Dreams Money Can Buy", a leak he let go of because, "A song that I felt the need to share. Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though…"

I've got two instant reactions. First, I have to hand it to Noah "40" Shebib. I don't know where that sample's from, but it's pretty fucking dope. Second, Drake's rhymes are perfectly decent, but I've got something in my head that the wifey said last night: "How long can Drake talk about how hard being rich and famous is before people just started getting annoyed?" (And you wonder why I married her?) It's a great question.

Kanye made the transition from "I'm rich now but I remember being poor and I'm really conflicted about it" to "fuck it, I'm rich now. I fuck models and buy ridiculous shit." And Jay was just never conflicted about making money in the first place. Will Drake be able to follow suit?
