Rare Pete Rock Remix Flips Clipse’s “Wamp Wamp” (Listen & Download)

Now this is a motherloving remix. In an age where the word "remix" means adding another verse from a guest rapper, legendary producer Pete Rock, whom we last heard on "The Joy", has taken Clipse's "Wamp Wamp" and completely flipped it from a reggae-influenced Pharrell beat into a slowly burning soul record. Found on one of Pete's Japan-only mixes, this is some of the truest testaments to production skill we've heard since 9th destroyed that "The Corner" remix.

Shouts to all by rap nerds who get excited about shit like a Pete Rock remix of a relatively obscure Clipse record. Crate digging isn't dead, it just went digital.
