Is Childish Gambino’s “Camp” Worth a Listen? (Full Album Stream)

With Drake, Wale, Pusha T all dropping major albums, along with more free projects than I can count, it's a bad time for new rappers to try and catch some attention. But Childish Gambino's in a better position than most. At the very least his day job as an actor (see Donald Glover on "Community") gives him a larger platform than most. But all the TV time in the world won't matter if your music isn't dope, and we're getting the first real chance to deliver a verdict on Gambino with his upcoming album "Camp".

With his background as a comedian it's no surprise that Gambino can write some pretty clever rhymes, but can he put together a compelling collection of music? Thanks to that stalwart of hip-hop, NPR, we can know listen to the whole thing and start to figure out if the man's worth truly paying attention to.
