Azealia Banks Proves She Can Rap On “Jumanji,” But Probably Never Touched The Book (Listen)

So contrary to popular belief it turns out that
Azealia Banks can kind of rap. For her latest release titled "
Jumanji" Banks taps into her inner emcee as she knocks out a couple of impressive verses. After hearing Banks' first few releases I had honestly kind of written her off. Her rapping left a lot to be desired and the production on her songs sounded like a mesh of dubstep, techno, Hip-Hop, and about 82 other genres of music. But alas Banks has finally released a song where she's legitimately rapping.
As far as the production it's definitely interesting to say the least. Sounds like the kind of music you would hear if you were staying at a hipster owned resort in The Maldives or something. Is that a bad thing? I have absolutely no idea. The drums at the end of "Jumanji" were a nice touch and was probably the only part of the song that was remotely Jumanji-esque.
Now the part of me that thoroughly enjoyed reading "Jumanji" as a kid and was beyond excited when the movie came out is a little pissed off that this song has absolutely nothing to do with "Jumanji." And on top of that both myself and Nathan S. are pretty convinced that that's Babar (the French elephant) in the art work for "Jumanji." And unless I somehow skipped a few pages there was no Babar cameo in "Jumanji."
Nathan Update: For the two other people in the world who care, that artwork's definitely Babar-related. Look out for "Rap Artwork That Makes No Fucking Sense," coming soon.
