I don't watch "American Idol", "X Factor", "The Voice" or any of those other shows that most of America seem to be obsessed with. (I'm more of a "First 48" kind of guy.) So I'm willing to bet that the rest of the country already figured out that this Astro kid, who was on "X Factor" could actually rap a long time ago, but for me it took hearing his new joint "Deadbeat".

Damn, for a 16-year-old, that's pretty nice. Storytelling ability is there flow is there, and unlike most dudes that young he doesn't sound like he's trying too hard. No need to get the hype machine rolling in full force off one song, but I now might just actually check out this "" mixtape he's got coming. In the meantime, enjoy...

(p.s. - If we're playing the rapper comparison game, I'd compare him to a young Will Smith - and yes, that's a compliment. Seriously.)
