In the age of Kreayshawn we're all rightfully wary of anyone who looks like they're the next "hot" thing. So while I won't pretend to know where Angel Haze will be in five years, I can guarantee that she's now gimmick. She's truly talented, truly original, and has been putting in work for years. She's catching a little buzz now due to "Reservation", her Universal/Republic signing and her BET Cypher, she's earned it.

That's no guarantee you'll personally dig her music, but it is a guarantee that checking out her new "Classicks" mixtape won't be a waste of your time. As the name implies, "Classick" finds Haze going in over some of hip-hop's most classicalest instrumentals from the likes of Eminem, Just Blaze, Timbaland and more.
