With his sophomore album, "Hall Of Fame: Memoirs Of A Detroit Player," set for release before the year is up, Big Sean has finally let loose the first single from the project and while the rapper has been pretty hit or miss for me personally, the record is pretty dope. Dedicated to the G.O.O.D. Music emcee's "enemies," "hatin' hoes," and other Big Sean doubters, "GUAP" is surely the braggy record but it's done so in a way that doesn't come across as too braggadocios.

At the top of the record Kanye West makes a brief cameo to proclaim, "G.O.O.D. Music in this b**ch, now drop the motherf**kin beat!" Now if you're hoping this is followed by a guest verse from Yeezy then think again. While Big Sean isn't at his most lyrical on "GUAP" the record is scattered with clever bars here and there and it's certainly one catchy song thanks in part to the tropics-inspired production from beatsmiths Key Wane and Young Chop.

"Hall Of Fame: Memoirs Of A Detroit Player" is currently set for release on December, 18, but my Spidey senses tell me we likely won't be seeing that album until 2013.
