Alicia Keys Proclaims It’s A “New Day” With Help From Swizz Beatz (Listen)

It's official, Alicia Keys is back on her latest single "New Day." It's catchy, it's a fun summer anthem, it's got a memorable hook. All the components are there for a very hot song. And for Keys to really prove that she's back we just need one of those sappy, gut-wrenching power ballads as a follow-up.

"New Day" is produced by Swizz Beatz but thank you little, sweet baby Jesus and friends because Swizz does not hop on the song with his awful adlibs or even more tragic rapping. With Swizz being her husband and all I'm sure Alicia Keys is well aware of how quickly a Swizz Beatz adlib can ruin a great song.
