Alicia Keys Does the “Unthinkable” With Drake on New Remix (Listen & Download)

More than five months after Drake first lightly hummed in the background of Alicia Keys' supremely beautiful single "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)", and only a few days after the release of the video, Drizzy is finally back to complete the job with a full verse. Since the production and Alicia's vocals remain essentially untouched, all focus is squarely on Drake's shoulders and, I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. The verse is pretty damn good, clever, personal, but was it asking to much for him to maintain the "unthinkable" theme? Shades of when Freeway completely ignored the "two words a line' rule on Kanye's "Two Words". And no, that's not me hating on Drake. That's me having high expectations for someone who's proven he deserves high expectations.

Let me put it this way. If you could only listen to one version of this song for the rest of your life, the original or the remix, which one are you going with? Exactly. Or maybe I'm just jealous because I life to pretend like Alicia's singing to me and Drake ruins the connection she and I have going. I'm not gonna lie, it's a possibility.
