Yo, Check Out the First Track 9th Wonder & Phonte Ever Did (Listen & Download)

Why "Rap Nerdery"? Because the people who come to RefinedHype solely to download "Black & Yellow" or look at naked Kim Kardashian pics won't particularly care, but I know that all my real rap nerds out there are going to spazz out over "Paper Lines", the first track ever recorded by Little Brother (Phonte, Rapper Big Pooh and 9th Wonder), way back when it was just 9th and Phonte and they were known as G.I.M.M.E.

Before the underground classics, before the break-up, beef and settled beef, 9th was simply creating dope, super clean and soul sample based beats, and Phonte was on real lyricism: "I left your album on the shelf with a smile / so wack even my alarm clock slept on your style." Damn, this one takes me back to late high school when I was playing the "Lyricist Lounge" mixtape 24 hours a day.

Ah, those were the days.
