At this point I'm actually concerned for 50 Cent's mental health. Did he suffer a stroke and no one knows about it? He used to be one of the smartest, most savvy businessmen and rappers alive, but lately he's music's been an absolute mess. The release of his "Big 10" mixtape was apparently organized by his semi-retarded cousin who just got out of jail. And then he premieres his new single "Girls Gone Wild" on MySpace because, you know, Friendster turned him down first. And to top it all off he raps on "Girls Gone Wild" like he just got shot in the face nine times, again. Can someone explain to me what's going on here?

The beat and Jeremih's hook are just catchy enough that this might still do well on the charts, but even Helen Keller can hear that Fiddy can't rap on this. He does that mumble/sing thing that he oddly insists on busting out for all his worst tracks. And while we all like it better when he's on his street shit, it's not like he can't make good songs for the radio/ladies (see here, here and here etc. etc.).

I can only imagine he's gotten so deep into "yes men" territory - when people tell you everything you do is the shit since you're so powerful - that he's somehow lost the ability to discren between the dope and wack shit. Or maybe he had a stroke. Either way, listening to this is like watching an obese Shaq struggle to score ten points a game for the Celtics.
