It was my hope that the 2013 RefinedHype Awards would be more than just another end of the year listicle. As much as I value my own opinion more than anyone else's (real talk), it's absurd to think an entire year of music can be narrowed down to a numbered list. And no, I'm not just saying that so Wale doesn't make me have to get my security. 

Instead, I was hoping this would be more of a conversation, and that RefinedHype Nation would bring up some dope music that I forgot about. In that sense, mission motherfucking accomplished. Plus, a lot of y'all got to vent some stress about what a mainstream sellout I am in the comment section, which I consider a public health service. You're welcome. 

All of the winners are below - which for the record I personally 90% agree with - in one handy-dandy place. Enjoy, see you back for next year's Awards. It's kind of a becoming a big deal.
