Block of Dilla (Pt. 3): Stussy’s J Dilla Documentary (Video)

Posted by Nathan S. on 02/18/10 | Filed under Top Stories, Videos, J Dilla, Block of Dilla

It's been four years since the greatest producer of all time, J Dilla, passed away, and to help keep his memory alive RefedHype's been dropping a giant block of Dilla (see Pt.1 and Pt. 2). We owe Jay Dee far more than we could ever hope to repay, but hopefully this is a start.

Clothing company Stussy recently produced a three-part documentary on Dilla's life and they've now dropped the first two sections of Dilla dopeness. Covering his time in Los Angeles and his navigation between L.A. and his native Detroit, parts one and two are must watch material for anyone who's life has been touched by Jay Dee's music (which includes every hip-hop head alive, whether you know it or not). Part three is set to drop next week, I'll be sure to update the post when it's out.
