Prote-J Crafts “Good Hip-Hop Meets Radio” EP (Listen & Download)

I know it can sometimes feel like good music and the music the radio plays are world's apart (cough, cough, Wacka Flocka), but quality radio music doesn't have to be an oxymoron, and here to prove it is newcomer Prote-J. A Florida based rapper/producer/songwriter who plays drums, bass, guitar and piano, Prote-J is determined to bridge the gap on his aptly-named new mixalbum "Good Hip-Hop Meets Radio", a project packed with original material that's more easily accessible than more esoteric hip-hop, but far deeper than more pop-friendly radio jams. It's not an easy line to walk, but Prote-J does so in style.
