Ok RefinedHype nation, I've got a little mystery I'm hoping you can help me solve. You see, when I talk to folks in the streets and read the comments on this site and our partner site DJBooth.net the prevailing thought seems to be that everyone's sick of Nicki Minaj and think she's overrated. And yet, anytime I post something from or featuring Barbie doll (couhg Little Freak cough) it gets more traffic than TMZ after those naked Cassie pictures leaked.

So there's really only three options here people. Either you're fronting and you secretly do want to love her; you do hate her, but in a "I want to listen to everything she puts out so I can hate on it" kind of way; or the stats are wrong and I should stop posting things like Nicki's new NMC and The Empire sponsored mixtape "Harajuku R&Barbie". Well which one is it?

Personally, Nicki mostly just disappoints me. With a style like that she could go down as one of the best female emcees of all time, but she seems determined to waste her talent on fashion and pussy talk.

Nathan S.	It was that cypher she did for the BET Awards that made me realize she's a sick emcee, but she seems to be be using that talent poorly, to put it mildly. It's a recipe for short term fame, and long term failure.
