Posted by Nathan S. on 10/26/10 | Filed under Downloads, Mixtapes, Neak
Want to know if someone's a true hip-hop head? Here's a simply test. Ask them to name the greatest producers of all-time. If they don't mention Pete Rock, they don't know what they're talking about. And if they do name Pete, they're probably a citizen of RefinedHype nation. And that, friends, is why
Neak is one of the finest citizens of RefinedHype nation.
On his new mixtape, "
Neak Rock", the Chicago emcee showcases some of his lyrical prowess over vintage instrumentals from the man who gave us classics like "
T.R.O.Y.". Joining Neak to pay tribute are vocalists
Add-2, Mike Schpitz, Drunken Monkee and many more, along with mixing and mastering courtesy of
Mulatto Patriot. In addition to yours truly, "Neak Rock" is presented by the fine folks at
the mothership,
PrefixMag,
YNotMyDream and
FakeShoreDrive.
