Pagano vs. Cancer
As long as we’re on the subject of inspiring speeches, if you listen to Indianapolis Colts coach Carl Pagano, who’s currently battling cancer, salute his team after last Sunday’s victory and it doesn’t get dusty…you don’t have a soul.
I’d say this is right up there with Billy Bob Thronton’s speech for “Friday Night Lights” but, you know, that was a movie and this was completely real. Best wishes to Pagano. Sometimes it’s bigger than sports.
