As the Beanie Sigel Turns
This is one of those Fails that’s actually just mostly sad.
Just a few days after Beans gave an obviously-wasted interview for the Breakfast Club, and a few days before he was set to begin a prison bid on tax evasion (he owed $3 million in taxes over the last decade, he paid $10K), Sigel was arrested when cops pulled him over and found a gun, a bottle of codeine, a bag of pills and two unconcious hookers in his car.
(Note: I made up one of those things, but does it really matter?)
There was a point when Beanie Sigel was legitimately considered one of the better and harder rappers alive. Now he’s a textbook story in how to fuck up your life and your career. I never want to see a man go to prison, but at this point maybe it’s the only thing that will save him.
