Lupe Fiasco Confirms "Food & Liquor 2" Is Coming.....Soon-ish-esque-maybe

This week Lupe Fiasco announced that he had completed recording his long-awaited album, “Food & Liquor 2”, a fact that blogs everywhere reported as “Food & Liquor 2 is coming soon!!!”

Yeah, except that part about the label.

Without any apparent hint of irony, Complex actually wrote, “As long as the label doesn’t have any major issues with the release, we can hope to see the project drop in July.”

Um, does no one remember what happened the last time around? You know, when fans actually started a petition to get Atlantic to release the album and Lupe made sure to mention that he wasn’t happy with the label in every interview?
