At this point Kanye’s like your drunk uncle at the family picnic. Yeah, he says some embarrassing stuff, and you give him a hard time, but ultimately you’re like, “That’s just drunk uncle Ted. He’s been that way for years and he’s not going to change. What are you going to do?” In that spirit, Yeezy dropped some absolutely gems during this behind-the-scenes video for the “WTT” tour.

“I was just thinking about my funeral and thinking who would be at my funeral. People who would be at my funeral? I’d want world leaders that were, like, affected. That said, ‘Kanye gave me my shot’. Or, ‘he pushed me’ or ‘he taught me to believe in myself.’”

In other words, not only does Kanye want the future President to be at his funeral, he wants that President to owe his presidency to Kanye. Now that’s a new level of ego, even for Yeezy.

“I’m in the pursuit of awesomeness. Excellence in the bare minimum”

Personally I would have assumed that excellence is way more important than awesomeness, but who am I to argue with the man.

Oh, drunk uncle Kanye. You’re the best.
