Picture the hype around a pre “Thank Me Later” Drake, only if he’d only released like two songs. So when Del Ray made her national debut on SNL last week it’s almost impossible to describe the amount of anticipation in the indie rock/hipster etc. world.

Sweet baby jesus. At least Amy Winehouse had heroin to blame her atrocious live shows on. I don’t know if I can even communicate in words how bad that was. Considering the circumstances it might literally be the worst live performance I’ve ever seen. That shit will haunt my dreams.
