It'd probably be pretty damn cliche to say that Slumerican rapper Yelawolf has come a long way since he released "Trunk Muzik" in 2010, but three years is a long time and the 'Bama spitter has in fact come a long way. Fans of Yela have been without a full, solo project from the rapper for quite sometime now, and that wait finally came to an end last night with the release of "Trunk Muzik Returns."

The 10-track mixtape again finds Yelawolf working with Atlanta-based beatsmith WillPower and a handful of featured artists including Raekwon, Killer Mike, and A$AP Rocky. With a lot of newer mixtapes it's pretty normal for a project to include at least 20 records, 10 guest appearances, and at least five skits, so it's pretty refreshing hearing a mixtape that lacks all the excess.

Whether or not you're feeling this latest batch of "Trunk Muzik" tunes, one thing is certain and that is you'll at least have some "funky a** sh*t to ride to" this weekend. You can both stream and download "Trunk Muzik Returns" below.
