If you're an Outkast and Big Boi fan (and if you aren't get the hell off my site) you've undoubtedly seen and heard a tall dude named Sleepy Brown put in work, but few really know what the man's capable of so I thought I'd take a moment and answer one essential question: Who the f**k is Sleepy Brown?

An Atlanta singer and producer that was formerly part of Organized Noize, and still is informally, Sleepy's sometimes considered the third unofficial member of the group and Big and Dre routinely bring him in for vocal work (ex. "Morris Brown", "" etc.). In addition to his work with Kast though, Sleepy has laid down work for Ludacris ("Blueberry Yum Yum"), Jay-Z ("Poppin Tags") and more....

But in addition to his work on other people's shit, Brown's actually put out a few dope albums of his own, most notably 2006's "Mr. Brown." He's now gearing up to release his fourth album, "Sex, Drugs & Soul" and just dropped the project's new single "You're My Lady," which is fucking dope, which inspired me to write this "Who the Fuck Is Sleepy Brown?" article. Long story short, he's part of the countless legion of people who are responsible for some of the music you love, but who don't ever get their fair share of credit. Don't worry Sleepy, I see you.
