The Weeknd’s Remix Of Florence + The Machine’s “Shake It Out” Is Pretty Darn Impressive (Listen)

After hearing The Weeknd's remix of Florence + The Machine's "Shake It Out" I think it's officially safe to say that this guy really has his own signature sound. The "Shake It Out" remix sounds like it could have fit perfectly on The Weeknd's "Thursday" project. And the funny thing about it is the "Shake It Out" remix sounds so uniquely The Weeknd yet it doesn't feature any vocals from the Canadian singer.

On the remix Florence Welch's voice is manipulated to sound more distant and the song features much more of a dark, moody beat compared to the original. There's something much more haunting about the "Shake It Up" remix compared to the original song. Haunting yet addictive. I've already gotten about five or six replay's of the song in in less than an hour. Somethings tell me we're likely to hear a lot more remixes from The Weeknd.
