This Week in Hype: Rap Power Rankings, Hip-Hop & Trayvon Martin & More Posted by Nathan S. on 07/19/13 | Filed under Downloads, Podcasts, This Week in Hype

Good news, your wait for a new "This Week In Hype" podcast is finally over. I know you've been anxiously waiting for it like Bubbles going through withdrawals. That's right, I've got the rap podcast game crack rock.

For the latest edition, I dig deeper into the Rap Power Rankings (Lil Wayne over Drake?), manage to talk about both Nicki Minaj's vagina and the Trayvon Martin tragedy, offer up not one but two giveaways, and much more.

Discussed This Week:

* Broadcasting live from inside Nicki Minaj's vagina.
* Another trivia question, another chance to win some fresh gear from IM King - you better email me with the quickness.
* The race to create RefinedHype's theme song (and win a pair of Sol Republic headphones) is on. I play the leading candidate so far.
* My new terrible/fantastic Chief Keef impression.
* Going over the Rap Power Rankings, creating the guest verse value corollary (e.x. Drake vs. Lil Wayne).
* For "10 Minutes With Someone Dope" I keep things in la familia and bring on RefinedHype writer Lucas G to discuss his controversial "Hip-Hop Did Not Kill Trayvon Martin" article.
* This week's closing song, James Brown's "Sex Machine".

I'm not saying you should subscribe to "This Week in Hype" on iTunes, I'm just saying you definitely fucking should.

Enjoy...
