T.I. is one hell of an entertaining guy. One minute, he's on VH1's "The Family Hustle" sending his kid to timeout for getting his "Crayola Crayola rocks" on on a cream-colored couch, and the next minute he's trapped out on a new song. But the thing about T.I. is that both these sides of the rapper come across as being genuine. On his newest record, "Trap Back Jumping", the Atlanta rapper releases his annual (or maybe it's semi-annual) trap-infused, "I hope ya'll didn't forget about me" banger.

With the backing of DJ Toomp's gloomy production T.I. makes a few bold, but expected comments as he proclaims that he can "take years off" and still remain tight lyrically. "Trap Back Jumping" does come across as a pretty dope record, but I can't seem to shake the feeling that it sounds a lot like something we've already heard from the rapper. Also, while T.I. can still get away with his trap raps now how long until it no longer seems believable?
