T.I. Boasts “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” (Listen & Download)

The Clifford Harris comeback tour continues with the release of his new single "Yeah Ya Know (Takers)", a hard rocking joint that finds T.I. dropping one of the smoothest flows of his career. Obviously that time in prison didn't dull his skills one bit. This may be a little too heavy to become a huge radio smash, but every Southern emcee who caught shine with the King gone should be scared. Very scared.

Why the "Takers" part of the title. Because T.I.'s got a movie coming out called "Takers" (think "Ocean's Eleven", only with more black people). First a primetime Larry King interview, now this, the man's a marketing machine. Though I'd like to have a word with whoever decided "King Uncaged" was a good album title. It sounds like a WWE special, not a potentially classic hip-hop album. I don't know why people don't consult me more.

Word on the interwebs is that T.I.'s self-loathing "Fuck a Mixtape" mixtape is going to drop today. Then again, word on the interwebs was that Dre's new "Detox" single would be dropping last month, so you know, we'll. see.
