Strong Arm Steady Packs “Two Pistols” (Listen & Download)

As far as I was concerned Strong Arm Steady's debut album "Deep Hearted" was ridiculously slept on, but the L.A. trio have used their relatively overlooked status as fuel to continue making unapologetically aggressive yet still lyrically complex hip-hop. Having teamed up with legendary experimental underground label Stones Throw Records, Mitchy Slick, Phil Da Agony and Krondon are now preparing for the full-release of their album "In Search of Stoney Jackson", and they're starting the festivities off with a bang (or two) on the new leak "2 Pistols". Produced by Madlib (hence all the trippy samples), "2 Pistols" is everything you could ask for from a Strong Arm joint.

Come to think of it, that should be their new motto: "Strong Arm Steady, because sometimes one pistol just isn't enough."
